About Sally:

I have been a nail technician for 7 years and had a love of nail art from the very beginning. My college tutor encouraged this and gave me huge support in pursuing it, putting me forward for competition work straight away.

This fuelled a passion and I have since trained multiple times with highly respected nail technicians, competed over 10 times, gaining feedback from esteemed people in our industry to perfect my skills.

I have worked in salons for my whole career and now have my own, The Amber Boutique, where I have made a full-time job in creating unique and quirky designs. I began teaching workshops a few years ago when I realised that people really wanted help with putting designs together for both quick and easy salon nails, or more advanced designs, but needed someone to sit with them to show them why it wasn’t working for them when they tried on their own. It’s usually something simple!

My specialities are one stroke, character painting and stamp designs.

Accomplishments:

World skills Wales nail art Gold Award 2013, 2014
World skills UK nail art highly commended 2013
World skills UK nail art Silver Award 2014

Nailympia London Boxed Nail Art division 2 Bronze Award
